Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms apply to your use of waterdamagebuenapark.link and to requests you make through this site or by calling (831) 303-1192. By using the site you agree to them.
Who performs the work
Buena Park Fire & Water Damage Pros connects you with independent fire and smoke restoration contractors who perform the work. Every fire restoration crew we send is licensed where California requires it, and insured. Any contract for board-up, cleaning, contents work, demolition or reconstruction is between you and the contractor who performs the work, and that contractor is responsible for the work, its permits and its warranty terms, if any. California law generally requires a written contract for home-improvement work over $500, and construction work of $1,000 or more must be done by a contractor licensed by the California Contractors State License Board. You can verify any license on the CSLB license lookup.
How the referral works
The contractors Buena Park Fire & Water Damage Pros connects you with are independent businesses. They are not our employees, and we do not supervise or direct how they perform the work. Each one is responsible for its own license, insurance, crew and workmanship, which is why we encourage you to check the license and ask for proof of insurance before you sign.
Buena Park Fire & Water Damage Pros may receive compensation from the contractors it refers you to. If you want to know whether a referral fee applies to your job, ask on the call. Your price is the one in the contractor's written scope, agreed before work starts.
Estimates, pricing and scheduling
- Any price is given in writing after an inspection and before work starts. Nothing on this site is a quote or a bid.
- Cost figures on this site, where they appear, are published third-party planning ranges included for general information. They are not our prices.
- We answer calls 24 hours a day, but visit times depend on crew availability, distance and conditions. No arrival time is guaranteed unless it is confirmed to you for your specific job.
- Some jobs require steps that add time and cost, such as an asbestos survey under South Coast AQMD Rule 1403 before demolition, abatement by a separately certified contractor, building permits and inspections, or work by an electrician, plumber or roofer.
We are not a public adjuster
Buena Park Fire & Water Damage Pros does not act as a public adjuster and does not negotiate, adjust or settle insurance claims on your behalf. In California only a licensed public adjuster or an attorney may represent a policyholder in a claim. The contractor who performs your work can provide photo documentation, an itemized scope and a contents inventory, and can meet your adjuster on site, but the claim remains between you and your insurer.
Not legal, insurance or medical advice
Content on this site is general information about fire, smoke and soot damage. It is not legal advice about landlord and tenant obligations or building codes, and it is not insurance advice: your coverage depends on your policy and your insurer's decision. Nothing here promises that a claim will be paid. It is not medical advice: if smoke or soot exposure worries you, talk to your doctor.
Using the site
- Give accurate information when you submit a request, and only submit requests for yourself or with permission.
- Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or copy its content for commercial use without permission.
- Links to outside sites, such as government resources, are provided for convenience; we do not control them.
Limits of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, Buena Park Fire & Water Damage Pros is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its general information. Claims about work performed are governed by your contract with the contractor who performed it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under California law that cannot be waived.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by California law. We may update them and will change the date at the top when we do. Our privacy policy explains how information from calls and forms is handled. Questions? Call (831) 303-1192 or visit our contact page.
